Well Point Network’s Green Stormwater Infrastructure
I was the lead publicist for Wellpoint Care Network’s large-scale Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) project. Wellpoint Care Network is a community-facing human services organization based in Milwaukee.
This project features a wetland and bioswale system designed to capture, treat, and temporarily store up to 1.2 million gallons of rainwater on-site.
My responsibilities included writing press releases, conducting media outreach, coordinating interviews, planning and organizing press conferences, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and groundbreaking events, as well as developing newsletters and other communications to keep stakeholders and the community informed throughout the campaign.
